23.6-inch multitouch display by Lenovo
Lenovo is preparing to release a new 23.6-inch LCD multitouch display L2461x Wide. Development stands by support of high quality video HD 1080 technology, support of 120 Hz MEMC (Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation) and a brightness of 300 cd/m2. In addition, the novelty, the thickness of which is only 16.9 mm, is equipped with LED-backlit display, integrated 2-megapixel webcam, USB-socket to 4 ports, connectors D-Sub, DVI, HDMI 1.3 and built-in speakers (2h3Vt).
In L2461x Wide, Lenovo plans to shortly launch in the sale and two other models of LCD-Display: 21.5-inch L2261 Wide and 23-inch L2361p Wide. Lenovo L2261 Wide also has the support of the resolution of Full HD 1920 × 1080p, but not equipped with HDMI-interface: for only VGA and DVI. In turn L2361p has an integrated 0.3-megapixel webcam, HDMI interface and a TV stand.
Google prepares to launch a new TV search engine
Internet company Google completes testing of new TV search engine. As developers say, search engine Google will be installed on the set-top boxes and satellite providers will search for video content. However, until now it has been limited to relatively few people – mostly, Google employees and their families.
TV search service – a joint project between Google and Dish Network, the second largest provider of satellite TV in the U.S.. About the new search engine is known, in particular, that it is designed to work on set-top boxes using the Android operating system from Google. It allows users to find a network provider Dish various content and search videos from online services such as YouTube. In addition, when using this search engine, users can create their own personalized list of video content.
