Google and Beijing are at the negotiating table
Google Inc. is in talks with the Chinese authorities. Recall that after the recent cyber attacks on the mail service Gmail which is suspected of organizing the PRC government, the U.S. Internet giant refused to follow instructions of the censors and promised to withdraw business from the country.
Obviously bringing the threat of execution disadvantage of either side. Companies need talents of Chinese engineers working in the Research Center of Google and proceeds from the sale of advertising in Chinese sector of Internet and googlephones. Celestial Empire is in dire need of such rich IT firms like Google without which the ambitious country can not achieve leadership in the global market of high technologies. Even if you have to close the service Google.cn, the company will retain the possibility of the Beijing Research Center and sales offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. An estimated 700 people work here (the global state of Google is 20 thousand).

Picasa 3.0 Review
It is difficult to say what Picasa is. First of all Picasa, certainly, a powerful organizer for the images finding them on all hard disks and grouping in albums according to various attributes. On the other hand, Picasa is alsp a photo editor. There are no tools for drawing however you can correct a picture or a photo, having changed those or other parameters. At last, Picasa is a service for publishing images on the Internet, and the program represents the client for interaction with the Network.
The third version of Picasa has released in beta-testing mode. And there are some new features wich i would like to review.
First of all Picasa 3.0 can find and contain 1 million photos. If is ver helpful for those who posses photobanks.
New possibility to pre-view photos has been included in the packege also. Now you can preview your photo ore faster and the program shows small sized picture. If you want to edit it just double click and the photo will be opened in the main editorial window. There you will find a lot of instruments to make photo corrections. They are enough powerfull so you can compare them to Photoshop

The most interesting feature is Passport Photo – the tool for face recognizing. But it is in experimental mode now. So it can recognize a face of one person, if the picture has some people the program can not recognize different faces.
That’s it for today
