Internet becomes more and more popular and effective method of advertising distribution. Today it comes up with television. But in contrast to TV there is bigger risk to be defalcated.
In my post I’ll try to tell to you about some kinds of swindle on website promotion and about possible fatal consequences for you.
It is possible to meet in the Internet a lot of announcements about granting services in the sphere of sites promotion, unfortunately only 10% from them are offered by companies which really promote websites.
There are a lot of cheaters among website promoters. Who are they? Pseudo-promoter usually offers to promote your site for the price which is lower then usual. It is rather profitable and a lot of inexperienced users agree. There is a problem of such promoters: they provide a huge attendance, but what is the quality of such attendance and such users.
Let’s consider some the most popular ways:
Internet Surfing
Internet surfing was popular in 90 years in the USA. The cause of this fact that search engines picked out by the principle of attendance. It leaded to appearance of surfing companies. Surfing companies were websites which paid employers for website visiting. Thus customer had good attendance.
Later administrators realized this problem and changed the principle: search engines reacted only in cases of using of at least one link on the attended page. It was hard for surfer companies. But some companies survived and adapted to new conditions, thus clickers appeared.
Clickers
The principle of attendance was changed a little. To get money for page visiting, they had to load page completely and to find a special link anв to load another content page. So, search engines continued to track unique users. But, soon this principle was changed, and promoters had to rack one’s brains again.
Mailers
There are two kinds of mailers: informational mailers which send you requested information, and spammers. There is always a link in spam letter. But the problem is next: search engines usually don’t pay attention on such websites. The number of visitors of your site will increase, but these users are not interested in your site, thus they are useless.
Let’s consider the consequence of such “black” website promotion method. The main danger of such “black” website promotion method is that your site can be banned by search engines. So such way of website promotion leads to loss of money and to opportunity to be left empty-handed.
