Microsoft may rename its Live Search service. It is announced that re-branding of Windows Live Search can be done in the first months of the next year. The new name supposedly is Kumo, but this information is not confirmed.

And on the base of Live.com will be created new social oriented portal. Steve Ballmer said theat Microsoft was not interested in buying Yahoo so they (Microsoft) should find alternative ways to get some sharemarket.
