Joint Project of APC and Microsoft

APC company has announced about joint project with Microsoft – 2 platforms integration: a pack of development tools by APC to manage data handling center and Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 pack. This union allows to rise a quality of monitoring, apply new technologies and services and to otimize engineering infrastructure. Specialists of data handling centers can extend monitoring functions and the whole engineering infrastructure including energy components, cooling, security etc.

APC offers a complete pack of development tools including InfraStruXure Central server with Change Manager and Capacity Manager modules which can support all project functions, control and monitoring for power supply, cooling and security.

Microsoft System Center Operation Manager pack – multi-purpose solution doing all function of network monitoring in corporative sphere. A Complex network monitoring for environment is a key factor of uninterrupted running of business applications.

It is expected that integrated solution (APC and Microsoft) will be involved in worldwide businesses in the first quarter of 2009.

Windows 7 Beta – Next Month Release

Microsoft is going to show its Windiws 7 beta version in the next month (January 2009).
Beta version will be shown at the MSDN Developer Conference. There will be much more features than in Vista. It was told that Windows 7 will be less depended on hardware.

Release date is the beginning of the 2010 year.

Apple Advertisement against Microsoft

On YouTube there were some video commercials of Apple ridiculed problems with the operational system Microsoft Vista. One of the spots, called “Bean Counter” sneer at very solid amount of advertising budget of the Microsoft, hinting that only a very small portion of that money will go to fix bugs with Vista. Another movie ridicules the same Vista which targeted choke word.

Both the video did not say a word about the benefits of MacOS, but rather immodest strike the reputation of Vista. Microsoft has so far refused to give any comments on these advertisements of Apple.
