Raidsonic will release the first products to support USB 3.0. ICY BOX IB-250StU3-B – is a compact aluminum enclosure for 2.5″ HDD SATA. ICY BOX IB-318StU3-B is designed for 3.5″ SATA drives up to 1 TB. Both drives are equipped with USB 3.0 interface with data transfer rate up to 5.0 Gbps. This is ten times faster than the maximum speed of USB 2.0 – 480 Mbps. New Drives ICY BOX USB 3.0 interface will be useful to all who works with large volumes of data for example handles video files or want to speed up the backup process.
