Microsoft Website’s Downtime

So, Windows 7 has been shown at CES 2009 and on Friday the Windows 7 beta release for developers was appeared on microsoft’s servers. But soon, servers were down because of huge amount of visitors trying to download this operational system.

Windows 7 will be available till August 2009 and it is designed for developers and testers. So usual users are strongly adviced not to download this version. There are many modifications inside Windows 7: calculator got many other functions and etc. It also has Internet Explorer 8!

Windows 7 Beta – Next Month Release

Microsoft is going to show its Windiws 7 beta version in the next month (January 2009).
Beta version will be shown at the MSDN Developer Conference. There will be much more features than in Vista. It was told that Windows 7 will be less depended on hardware.

Release date is the beginning of the 2010 year.

Windows 7 Beta Version

The first beta-version of the Windows 7 (wich is currently under construction) can be released in December 2008.

It is supposed that Windows 7 modifications will be demonstrated in October at the Professional Developers Conference (PDC) and at the Windows Hardware Engineering Conference (WinHEC) in November 2008. Though testing starts in the middle of December at least. Some testers have already got M1 and M2 (Milestone) indexes of the Windows 7.

Besides managers of the Microsoft company in their E7 blog told that they were ready to start Windows Feedback Program for Windows 7 OS. They hope to get thousands of feedbacks to impove the Windows 7 OS.

According to the news Windows 7 will be available in 32- and 64-bit configurations and will go on sale in the end of the next year.
